The Order of Mercaerin

|
S.Y. 307.10 (May
8, 2001) -- Skara Brae Last night was to be another encounter with the Order of Mercaerin. Word had it that Selrac was going to apear in the open out side the city of Yew near the Court of Truth. This ment that the Order would be close by. As evedent they still seek him for betraying them, many nights have seen vile undead spawn in the area of Skara. The Wolves Mustered at the Jhelom south docks and where give instructions from Lord Dux, before going the moongate to ol Yew. After arriving in Yew we made our way into another Moongate that took us to where our allied forces where to gather.
Shorty after we arrived and lined up the BUB Guild came and spoke with Lord Dux about there intentions. They where here to fight the menace and whould leave out fallin comrads belongings where they lie.
As the tention mounted a fimilar sound caught Lord Dux's ears. It was the sound of Caw, Selrac's pet and good friend. There is a message from Selrac and the Leaders of the guilds gathered around Caw to hear the news.
After the Elven arived our numbers where very impresive, over 100. All I could see all around me were warriors on horse back, weapons at the ready. Mages reading from there spell books, casting procetion spells on the masses to keep them well. Sentries patroling that outer area to report any sightings. All of a suden the moans of undead filled the air, the alert went out. Bone Knights, mummies filled the area. The troops charged after them. Metal and bone smashing into one another. Mage filling the air and blood soaking the ground. Soon all the congered minion of the Order where piles of debre. The troops returned to there posts and tened to there wounds, waiting for the Order them selves to show. We decided to muster the masses on the roof of the Court of Truth building as that was not under the control of the guards and may be keeping the murderous Order members from showing. Time past and Lord Dux received a message from the Order saying that the impressive numbers had made them wait to seek revenge on Selrac. The battle was ours and as we returned to our homes we all where confident that the order would not have our lands this night. |
