*stables Agusta and slowly walks into the grove*

*It is late into the evening, too late for a Lady to be out alone- especially with the recent sightings of Richard in town. If you knew Luci and any of her habbits you would know something is terribly wrong...she does not go to Aylennes' grove (Skara Brae) unless she is in search of answers, and she hasn't been to the grove in months. This is not the place where she worships the Lupus or the One true wolf, this is where she seeks guidance from the Banshee Mother.*
*She finds the old O'hii tree that she is so familiar with and lays a wool blanket upon the worn earth where she has spent many an hour in contemplation, meditation, and prayer. This night she will not light the candle that she would normally put to flame, she is not oblivious to the dangers that are encroaching upon these lands. She does however have an unusual item she brings out of a sheath that had been hidden in her once clean and blindingly white skirt. It is her Banshee Kryss. A Kryss that at one time was her deadliest weapon used in the service of the Mother and weilded with blessed perfection to strike down any foolish enough to cross her.*

*The moon slowly makes its way into the darkened sky as she sits with an oil cloth rubbing it across the steel of the immaculately clean weapon. She is not cleaning, she is meditating and praying.*

I've been to the bottom of the bottle Mother. There is desperation all about me. Tis not the path I thought you would ever set me upon...I have seen the One True Wolf...His ways scare me Mother...And the one man (Daemon) I felt who truely understood this war betrayed my sister (Jennae), along with all the other Holy Wolves.

*continues polishing. swish, swish.*

Faith-Faith he said...I would bring Hope and Faith.Said the wolf god with the glimmering silver fur. But what do I know of his way? He tells me to inspire...but these wolves only think of victory...Not Faith or Virtue...Nor Love,Humility,Truth or Courage...

*continues polishing. swish,swish.*

...And killing...always killing...

*swish....swish...swish*

*Lucis hand begin to move slower and slower over the polished steal and her eyes begin to glaze over as she slips into a trance.*

...And with that she is transported into the place of light. Luci refers to it as Delphi, it is the place where the Banshee Goddess speaks to her. Before she even sees the Mother, she is overcome with joy and relief...She knows the Banshee Queen will set things right for her. Give her deeper understanding of the mystery of her service to the Wolves.
As she sits upon the green grass, in the twinkling of magical light, she is suddenly overwhelmed with a sense of dread. Something isn't right, and then they appear...Tis not just the Banshee Queen, she has the Silver wolf at her side.

*Luci shudders in fear and rolls to her knees and puts her forehead deep into the glade. The deepest bow a mortal can muster.*

The Goddess Speaks:
Arise Luciana...Do not think you may avoid the moment in tribute child.

*Luci stands with the sudden strength of the Banshee Queens' energy coursing through her. She looks straight to the God and the Goddess before her. She is no longer afraid.*

You have chosen to doubt your path? Where would ye be without our guidance daughter?

*Luci knows the answer to this, without a second thought.*

I would be at the bottom of a cliff M'Lady...But, but, tis not you I doubt...Tis the genocide that these wolves seek that I so much am afraid of mother. I did not know that ye were consorting with the Wolf God...tis been so long since I have had a sending from you...Forgive me Mother, for I have doubted.

*The Silver wolf makes a short growling sound but remains solid and lets the Banshee Queen do the talking.*

Genocide, Genocide is a strong word child...We do not seek to destroy all the drow...We only seek to clean out those who refuse to do us service...More precisely, the ones who would encroach upon the Wolf Gods lands without paying him tribute. This war is not about annihliation...It is about education. And although every battle may not be a victory for you wolves, every battle is a victory for the True Wolf as they begin to realize he wont be ignored.

*Luciana nods as she thinks she begins to understand...*

There are much more battles ahead....You have yet to be tried my daughter...Ye know of the evil that lurks here in Skara Brae. And ye have heard rumors that your Generals are aligning with the one they call Richard...And he himself has approached you to do his bidding...Our message to you is it shall not be so. The Silver wolves can not turn on their sister city of Spirituality. Do not allow that to happen. The war with the Drow shall go on...But the war in Skara will be decisive. Many of great standing will be lost. And tis not for us to allow the balance of powers to be turned. The circle must stay intact. If the wolves align with Richard the city of spirituality will be no more. Take heed daughter. If the city of spirituality falls, so shall mankind.

*Luciana is filled with the utmost dread...She knows the words to be true. Tis as she saw it in her dreams. Years of darkness spread across the lands...She had hoped it was just a dream and nothing more...Apparently it was a spoke upon the wheel of fate. Not what is to be, but one of many possibilities yet to be determined.*

I understand Mother...I will do my best. Forgive my doubts Mighty Wolf, I am yet still just a mortal.

*Both Gods nod and give the blessing to the child with a hundred miles to go. Tis much for a mere mortal, and Luci will need more then just their blessings in the comming war, she will need the strength of her brothers and sisters in arms.*

*The Gods begin to pull back and leave her to rest in the warmth of Delphi and its magical light. She will awake with the new morning and a new beginning. Though she would like to ask them a million questions, just this short visit has left her exhausted and worn. She does manage to get one last question out before they fully vanish...*

...And my husband...is he safe?
*calis has been away travelling the far reaches of civilization.*

*She sees the Banshee Goddess smile her lovingly smile of comfort and nod her head just so...Her husband is safe.*
