Construction of a Golem

The first golem in Skara Brae was named "Clock". The necessary parts to construct a golem are: a power crystal, a clockwork assembly, 50 iron ingots, 50 bronze ingots, and a few gears. Charlie put them together carefully in her workshop, and Lord Steward Engval, Lord Chancellor Zed, and this reporter curiously and cautiously watched her work. After all the parts were assembled, Charlie took it outside, and a couple of experiments were done to examine how it works. First, Chancellor Zed summoned a water elemental, and had them fight each other. Surprisingly, the golem was far stronger than those two summoned creatures, and Clock was only slightly hurt when the fights were over. The use of the golem is still under discussion, but it would seem that golems would serve as excellent guards to protect town officials from assassination and defend the city itself.
