Abduction

looked at the clock on the wall; 1:42 am. He rubbed the exhaustion out
of his eyes and tried to re-focus on the map before him. “I wish
I knew the city of Nujel'm better.” Zed thought. “This map
does not tell me what I need to know. Tomorrow I must travel there and
see the lay of the land for me self.”
Zed looked up. A noise? A rustling cloth? “It must be the curtain…”
Shaking his head he said aloud; “I imagine things.” He listened
carefully anyway. He thought to himself that he heard a voice. It took
him a minute to place the language. “Drow!”
Zed grabbed the ink pen on the desk. He had heard the rumors that Drow
would be watching him. Desperately he scribbled a note in a book...
